What am I trying to do on this site?

I've always enjoyed food and as a family it has always been a central part of our lives. To that extent I have always wanted to pull together a collection of my and my families favorite recipes for all us to share and enjoy.

So what I am trying to do here is provide a platform for doing that. But rather than have a simple link to a database of recipes what I would like to achieve is something a bit more interesting and relevant to people who might want to use this site. 

If you are interested in becoming part of this online family sign up and take from what is in the site, but also contribute so that other members of your online family can benefit from your participation.
